Then it has this symbol that shows Gemini which calls out what it found. And then the process continues. So it finished the first steps. Then it goes into the content planning, finds more tools, goes into more things like deeper investigation, overlapping tool functions. Okay, this is a lot of sites. We're at 101 170. Holy mother of God, that was quick. What's this? Okay, so it's got templates on notion. That's an interesting one. That's a lot of research. Hi, my name is Dmitri Bonichi and I'm a content creator, agency owner, and AI enthusiast. You're listening to the AI agents podcast brought to you by Jot Form and featuring our very own CEO and founder, Idkin Tank. This is the show where artificial intelligence meets innovation, productivity, and the tools shaping the future of work. Enjoy the show. All right, it's here, so we got to talk

about it. Deep Research is here, and it is free. What do you mean free? Yeah, that's right. Chat GPT, you got to watch out. It's only available for your pro on chat GPT and plus and teams plan. Wait a second. Gemini's got deep research. And this is the one that's owned by Google, so it can Google things, I guess. I don't know. In all seriousness, welcome back to another episode of the podcast. There is some seriously new information coming through here. We have Gemini which is obviously owned by Google that has the planning, searching, reasoning and reporting capabilities you'd expect from a deep research tool and it is available for free inside of every Gemini account now. So if we go to Gemini advanced and we go to deep research right here, it says get in-depth research report. So I want to do this. I

want to have it do deep research by me writing out something like, I run a content agency for the niche of SAS companies. Help me build out an AI agents team using tools that are available to save money on hiring costs and save time. Okay, these are the things that I really, really need it to do. So, it's going to ask me a couple questions, very similar to CHPT to make sure that the plan's good. So, I can edit the research plan. What changes do I want to make? So, it says research AI tools. Okay. Actually, this is pretty good. Actually, that looks good. That looks great. Actually, you can go ahead with it. So, what it's going to do is it's essentially going to go through and do its thinking. It showcases how many websites it's looked at. And unlike ChateBT, I'll be honest,

I I seem to just have more trust in the way that it's going about things for a couple reasons. One, it is using Google. It's owned by Google. There's something about that that makes me feel that's going to be more cohesive than what ChateBT is doing. Second, the deep research tool kind of crashes one out of every three times I use it and feels clunky. Feels definitely like a Microsoft product. No shade, actually. Massive shade. Feels like a Microsoft product. Google always has a little bit of a better user experience feel to it. And I do see that here. And I don't actually feel a clunkiness to where I feel like it's going to crash with what's happening with the chatty side of things. And I feel like it's going to go. So, we're going to let this do its thing. However, I do want

to call out that it shows the thinking and the sites browsed in their entirety. And it doesn't have that weird pop-up window thing that CHBT has that makes it crash. Whenever I do the pop-up window, I swear it crashes. As you can see, it's starting with the initial research focus, saying that it's beginning the research into AI tools that can help build a content agency specifically for SAS companies. And the initial focus will be on identifying tools that can assist. Talks about its planned investigation areas and next steps. Then it does some research using Google. Then it has this symbol that shows Gemini, which calls out what it found. And then the process continues. So it finish the first steps. Then it goes into the content planning, finds more tools, goes into more things like deeper investigation, overlapping tool We're at 101. 170. Holy mother

of God, he's got templates on notion. That's an research. The entire list, like I said, is here. 170. Bardine. It's a lot of blogs that are being searched, which I find interesting. So, if you are somebody who has good SEO, probably good. Of course, Neil Patel is going to be at the top. That guy is great SEO. All right, so let's take a second real quick, take a mental note that that started about three to four minutes ago. And we'll look at some of the comparisons between Gemini and Chat Chat GPT. There are some blogs on the topic. And what it's saying is that it seems Gemini looks up more things, doesn't output as large of a report, and it seems like from what everyone's saying, they both have pretty decent responses and research. Gemini is shorter. OpenAI is longer. However, Gemini is free. OpenAI

costs money. And one big thing that you probably noticed at the beginning because I was going to upload my business explanation to Gemini. Not a thing. It is a thing with JIGBT. When you go to deep research, you can also using its reasoning model, not only do deep research, but also press plus and upload files, which to me matters a lot. And this can be particularly helpful in STEM related research work where you can upload PDFs or paywalled science journals. That's important. Paywalled stuff you're going to need to add here. So, I don't like that it doesn't have that capability, but to be fair, it did its thing. This spit it out a couple minutes ago. Didn't take that long. Only took about 5 6 minutes. And this is the breakdown it gave me. So, it gave me an executive summary, which is pretty good.

The landscape of content creation is rapidly evolving. Gives me a report on how to make an AI agent team. This is accurate. Creating content for SAS companies does require deep technical details. Breaks that down more. AI tools for SAS content planning. Okay, so it's saying to use Semrush. That's fair. Everybody knew that. Surfer SEO introduces topic explorer. Okay, so the topic generation seems like it's just telling me to use the basic tools. These are not AI agents. Once again, tells me for keyword research. Semrush. Surfer SEO. Got it. AI writing tools. Okay. Jasper AI. We knew Jasper AI was a thing. Website copy. Jasper AI. Write Sonic. Interesting. Social media updates. Same basic tools. I I mean a lot of these tools are not too complicated. So I have to say so far not too impressed. These are very basic tools that everybody knows about.

I don't think it understood AI agents. This is kind of an issue. Did some research. Google Analytics isn't really a content performance analysis tool. It's just the thing that has the backend where you can look at your analytics. Okay. User Maven. Let's check out that product. I also don't like how I have to uncheck this in order to find the source and then I can't click on the source. That's not great. I don't think that's a good user experience. That's my opinion. If I look up user maven, is this going to be right? No. Okay, so it said number two, right? This is definitely Maybe it's number three and I just messed up. Uh user Maven's not on here. So even though it wasn't it was two or three is not there and I can't click on it. So not a big fan of this,

I guess. Oh, it's on these. It's on option three. This is weird. This is a weird experience for looking at it. You can't click on it. Not ideal. So, let's go to number three. I'm hoping user maven's on this. Yeah, it is. But also like I don't know, blog scraping is basically what this did. And obviously the best tools should show at the top, but also the the tools that people are trying to keyword hijack are kind of at the top. So, not great. Okay. So, recommendations for building an AI agents team. It says planning, Samrush, Uber suggest. I'm pretty sure Uber suggest is the Neil Patel app. Yeah, once again, that doesn't really do much because AI agents kind of require an API and running in the background. And I don't really think this understood that. Sure, you can use Zapier. No, there's no

way I would use Zap. Okay, honestly, this did a pretty bad job. Now, I am a pretty well in then guy about the subject. So, unfortunately, this probably didn't help me out much. For new people, it might. Zapier is the worst recommendation of the API automation tools. It's the most expensive per use. So for building an AI agent, no. I like that you can export the table to sheets, I guess. I mean, that's kind of cute. If I open it up in Sheets. Oh, wow. Look at that. That's nice for the ecosystem, you know. Plus points for the ecosystem, but it's kind of a short report. Didn't really give me a lot. I feel meh about what just happened. I feel very meh about it. I feel like JPT gave me a lot more when I've used it. It's g me nice, deep research. Like

for example, I asked it for 300 examples of AI sounding tools or I should say words rather so that I could like blacklist them from when I'm using chatpt or claude for writing and it did what I asked. This didn't really do what I asked. AI agents are not this. I can exported to docs and copy it really easy and the experience feels better, but I feel like the output was much better with chatpt. So this might be my subjective opinion. However, it did do in-depth research for free. I'm not paying for Gemini, so it is what it is. But at the end of the day, I want it to be good. And I didn't feel like this was a good report. And it's not long enough to feel like I you really looked upund how many? It said likeund and how many? Well, now

it doesn't have the number. Oh, and it didn't use a lot of it. How's it thoughts? Yeah. See, now I don't even know how many it actually used cuz it said the number, then it stopped saying the number. Overall, eh, I'm going to say bad response. Not a big fan. very very mid experience. I'm curious what you guys think about this. Um, it also is funny that it says files in the chat, but you can't add your own, but it's it's its own files via the Google doc. Very snappy experience, very clickable, but I'm just I'm feeling off about this. Let me know what you guys think. I'm curious. Leave a comment down below. I'm just kind of feeling off about this. I'm not sure if Gemini has quite cracked the code on AI yet, but hey, what do I know? I'm just a person

on the internet who's giving you the information at hand and trying things out for himself so that you don't have to. Thank you so much for watching this episode and we'll see you in the next one. Bye-bye.
